Top SchoolDavid Ligne is a seasoned Scrum Master and former software engineer with over a decade of experience helping organizations adopt and scale agile practices across finance, education, and public sectors. Comfortable at the intersection of people and technology, he pairs PSM1 and SAFe SSM certifications with hands-on familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git and a broad legacy tech stack (Java, PHP, C#, C/C++, SQL) to coach teams and remove delivery impediments. He has built early agile teams for government (MRNF), guided multi-team transformations at Beneva, and maintained critical university systems supporting 45,000 users, demonstrating both governance and on-call operational chops. Known for making teammates engaged and fulfilled, he runs retrospectives, metrics-driven improvements, and communities of practice to spread sustainable practices. Based in Montreal, he brings a pragmatic blend of tooling know-how and human-centered facilitation, with an unusual depth from having moved between development, ops and agile coaching roles.
