Top SchoolDavid Mcatee is a Senior Software Engineer with over a decade of experience building simple, fast, and robust tools, currently advancing backend and full-stack work at Azure Standard. Grounded in an MS and BS in Computer Science from UCLA, he has a long history of shipping production systems—from C++ and .NET work early in his career to front-end-focused full-stack roles at IT Strategists. He favors pragmatic engineering that delights users (a passion that began when he typed BASIC on a Commodore 64) and consistently delivers reliable, maintainable solutions. Based in Peoria, Arizona, he combines hands-on coding with a collaborative, relationship-driven approach to teamwork and mentorship. Outside work he’s family-oriented, which informs his emphasis on trust and long-term partnerships in product development.
