David Riosalido is an independent Platform Engineer consultant based in Madrid with nearly two decades of infrastructure experience and 11 years focused on cloud-native platform engineering. He designs and operationalizes declarative, auditable infrastructure—driving migrations (AWS→GCP), IaC redesign with Terraform/Terragrunt/Crossplane, and GitOps CD with ArgoCD/Argo Rollouts across multi-cluster Kubernetes estates. As a principal platform engineer he shifted organizations from DevOps to “infrastructure as a product,” simplifying developer onboarding and enabling ML workloads via Knative-KServe, Argo Workflows and Numaflow. He combines hands-on automation (Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) with product-minded platform strategy and has built experimental MCP servers for AI-assisted infrastructure debugging and observability. Beyond tech, he has led large cross-functional programs and even chaired a cooperative that delivered 170 homes, demonstrating rare program management and fiscal stewardship alongside deep technical craft.
