Senior🎓
Top SchoolDavid Silverlight is a seasoned mobile architect and Xamarin specialist with 11 years of experience building cross-platform apps and leading engineering efforts from prototype to production. As "Chief Xamarin Geek" at Caffeinated Shark Labs he architects Xamarin.Forms and MVVMCross solutions for clients ranging from social pet networks to banking and FAA-backed safety apps, often owning mapping, offline sync and POS integrations. His background includes a long history of Silverlight LOB architecture and enterprise-grade .NET systems, giving him a rare ability to bridge legacy desktop line-of-business migrations with modern mobile architectures. Based in Miami, he’s equally comfortable mentoring remote teams and diving into low-level UX/map implementations—he once transitioned FAA mapping features into a shipped iOS client. Practical, business-minded, and hands-on, he blends deep client-side expertise with strong system design to deliver reliable, user-focused mobile products.
