Senior🎓
Top SchoolDavid Sugianto is a Site Reliability Engineer with 9 years of experience designing and operating cloud-native infrastructure at scale, currently driving reliability at ByteDance after multi-year platform roles at Tokopedia and HalalNode. He blends platform engineering and DevOps practices with hands-on automation—building CI/CD pipelines, Ansible-driven provisioning, and containerized databases—to cut manual effort and accelerate releases. Comfortable across cloud architecture, observability (Prometheus, Grafana), and orchestration with Docker and NGINX, he focuses on optimizing cost and performance in production environments. Known for pragmatic problem solving and cross-functional collaboration, he has repeatedly turned ad-hoc setups into repeatable, automated platforms. Based in Jakarta, he brings strong scripting and tooling chops (Python, Bash, GitLab CI) and a track record of improving uptime and deployment velocity. An engineer who favors measurable impact, he reduced manual configuration work by roughly 90% in prior roles through automation.
