Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolDavide Casella is a seasoned DevOps and Platform Engineer based in Milan with a decade of experience automating software delivery and managing cloud-native infrastructure. He has led release management and lifecycle automation in regulated banking environments, building Python-driven frameworks that integrate Jira and Bamboo, and replacing fragile deployment scripts with Ansible playbooks. Davide combines hands-on cluster administration (ArgoCD, Helm, Kubernetes) with Git-centric workflows, custom Git hooks and CI/CD tooling, and practical scripting in Bash, Python and Go/Rust where needed. He’s comfortable coordinating outsourced teams and navigating change management and compliance constraints, and has a background translating research-grade algorithms into production C++ implementations—an unusual blend of academic rigor and operational pragmatism.
