Summary
🤩
RockstarDavide Salerno is a Senior Software Engineer based in Milan with 14 years of experience building cloud-native and enterprise systems, currently focused on OpenShift networking, ingress and DNS at Red Hat. He combines deep hands‑on skills in Go and Kubernetes controller patterns with a background in architecture for financial systems, having designed low‑latency pricing and settlement platforms for major banks. Davide contributes to upstream open source projects (Gateway API, Kogito, Apache SonataFlow), bridging product requirements and community-driven implementations. He’s comfortable across the full delivery lifecycle—requirements, design, coding, CI/testing, and incident response—while mentoring cross-functional teams and supporting customer escalations. Notably, he moves between high-regulation finance projects and open-source cloud networking, bringing a pragmatic approach to scalable, observable systems.
