Top SchoolEduardo Martins is a seasoned energy infrastructure leader with 15 years of hands-on experience spanning utility operations, developer/IPP project delivery, and EPC execution across utility-scale solar and multi-hundred-MWh battery energy storage systems. Currently directing commissioning and energization at Gridworks, he combines deep field expertise—from lineman and protection technician roots to SCADA/substation automation—with strategic program leadership for GW-scale projects. He has led complex interconnection and commissioning efforts in NYISO and ERCOT, managed multi-million-dollar substation programs, and overseen large BESS portfolios integrating Sungrow systems and advanced EMS platforms. Known for recruiting and mentoring high-performing technical teams, Eduardo blends operational rigor, regulatory fluency, and data-driven process improvements to reduce risk and accelerate grid integration. A practical problem-solver with a background in electrotechnics and industrial automation, he quietly leverages frontline restoration and control-room experience to make commissioning plans that actually work in storm and high-pressure scenarios.
