Summary
👤
SeniorEhsan Gazar is a Principal-level software engineer and technical leader based in London with over a decade of hands-on experience building high-performance web platforms and leading cross-functional teams. He has driven measurable business impact—leading Mecca’s micro-frontend platform that boosted holiday online sales by 40%, shaving critical journeys by seconds to lift NPS, and improving homepage load times under 2 seconds through caching and SSR strategies. Comfortable across the full stack, Ehsan has led migrations to modern stacks (React/Redux, Node.js), architected design systems, and scaled teams from startups to enterprise clients including Toyota and Australia Post. He pairs an entrepreneurial mindset (co-founder of a consultancy that delivered 100+ products) with a practical focus on performance and user experience. Known as a mentor and organiser of hackathons, he blends delivery rigor with a culture of learning and stakeholder collaboration. Few engineers combine deep performance optimization wins with proven product-led commercial outcomes at this scale.
