Top SchoolEli Bush is a Senior Application Security Engineer with eight years of hands-on experience hardening web, mobile, and cloud-native systems across enterprise and content-production environments. He has reduced critical vulnerabilities and shifted security left through SAST rollout and developer enablement—driving vulnerability reductions of greater than 50% at Disney and 75% via an internal ASA program. Eli has operationalized cloud posture reviews across AWS, GCP, and Azure, built test environments for penetration testing, and automated vulnerability acknowledgement with serverless tooling to cut response times from hours to minutes. Comfortable interfacing with development teams, bug-bounty researchers, and platform owners, he combines practical offensive testing (Burp, Acunetix) with platform-scale defenses (Checkmarx, ScoutSuite). Based in the Greater Phoenix area and grounded in a BS in Cybersecurity from BYU, he also brings uncommon experience building ETL and monitoring pipelines that drove an 80% drop in significant campus security incidents.
