Senior🎓
Top SchoolEli Labes is a Senior Software Engineer with nine years of experience building user-focused, accessible web and native applications from Wellington, New Zealand. He specializes in modern front-end ecosystems (React, Vue 2/3, AngularJs, TypeScript) while also shipping back-end and native work in Node.js, Rust, GraphQL, and SwiftUI. At Education Perfect he led major rewrites, helped transition a monolithic frontend into a micro‑frontend architecture, and architected a cross-platform design system that powered both web and iOS apps. Now at Partly and freelancing, he blends product-facing collaboration with hands-on implementation and ongoing client support. Comfortable as a presenter and tech lead, Eli is equally at home negotiating architecture decisions or diving into tests and build tooling to keep complex projects shipping.
