Top SchoolEli Slothower is an AI Product Engineer with a decade of hands-on experience building reliable, user-focused AI and embedded systems from research prototypes to production. A Carnegie Mellon CS graduate, he has shipped real-world AI tools for education at CoTeach and worked on classified outer-space and national security systems at Lockheed Martin, navigating strict compliance while delivering robust software. Eli combines full-stack skills (Python, TypeScript/React, AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, Postgres) with research experience in auditing large AI image datasets for bias, giving him a rare mix of product intuition and technical rigor. He’s drawn to designing intuitive human-AI workflows that measurably improve outcomes, and outside work he pursues outdoors adventures and continual learning—an appetite that fuels plans to pursue a PhD.
