Top SchoolElias Almqvist is a founder and hands-on software engineer with eight years of experience, currently building Zettascale Computing Corp in San Francisco after joining Y Combinator’s S24 batch. He blends embedded systems experience from Plejd with a rigorous Computer Science & Engineering background from Chalmers, and describes himself simply as "i make stuff compute"—a concise hint at a pragmatic, systems-first mindset. As CEO he’s focused on turning compute-heavy ideas into products, likely with a bias toward efficiency and low-level optimization given his embedded roots. His trajectory from engineering-focused secondary education to startup leadership suggests both technical depth and a fast-moving, product-oriented approach.
