Summary
👤
SeniorElizabeth Mezias is a senior mobile engineer with 14+ years of hands-on experience building Android apps from the platform’s early days through modern Kotlin and Bluetooth LE/IoT integrations. She has designed and shipped commercial apps across ecosystems (Android, BlackBerry, Amazon App Market) and led multi-app public health interventions at Stanford Med that combined UX, GPS and accelerometer sensing to produce measurable behavior change. At Bose, lululemon Studio, Turo and startups she’s acted as architect and principal engineer, bridging hardware, mobile and cloud teams to deliver polished consumer experiences. Founder of Mezcode, an early solo commercial app portfolio and Google Glass prototyping collaborator, she pairs deep technical breadth with community leadership in the Boston Android/GDG scene. Notably, she moved from enterprise technical leadership into full-time mobile product development long before smartphones were mainstream, and now prefers remote roles while continuing to organize large Kotlin and Android events.
