Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolElize Papineau is a Senior Data Engineer with nine years of experience designing and operating data platforms across biotech, professional services, and SaaS companies. She specializes in Snowflake administration, dbt orchestration, and custom ingestion pipelines (Fivetran, Singer, Snowpipe), having driven a 50% reduction in dbt Cloud job time and measurable Snowflake cost savings. Comfortable in both customer-facing and internal enablement roles, she has led migrations of large event telemetry datasets, automated repeatable database maintenance with dbt macros, and mentored teams on best practices. Her background in biotech research and hands-on full-stack data application work gives her a pragmatic edge in translating complex domain requirements into secure, performant data products. Based in Portland, she pairs operational rigor with a collaborative, training-first approach and an affinity for iced tea and Pokémon-themed whimsy.
