Senior🎓
Top SchoolEmil Orol is a senior software developer based in Miami with over a decade of hands-on experience building scalable web applications and backend integrations, particularly with Drupal, PHP, and AWS. He specializes in turning manual, paper-based processes into automated systems—one back-office medical billing app he built cut reimbursement time from 60 to 18 days and drove claim rejections below 2%. His cost-conscious engineering has saved organizations six figures annually by migrating Drupal deployments to AWS with zero downtime, and he’s built robust tooling such as a termination-data importer that eliminated a $15,000/month vendor dependency. Comfortable across the stack, Emil also created high-traffic sites with custom in-RAM caching to handle 50,000 concurrent users and integrates APIs (SOAP/REST) to centralize enterprise data for HR, BI and marketing. A fast learner and challenge seeker fluent in English and native Spanish, he blends practical problem solving with operational ownership to deliver measurable business impact.
