Top SchoolEmilio Barradas is a Software Engineer II based in Boston with eight years of experience focused on building LLM-powered systems and obsessing over developer experience. At Chewy he progressed from intern to Software Engineer II, shipping production services that prioritize ergonomics for other engineers. He pairs practical product delivery with a deep curiosity for programming language design and build systems, often tinkering and researching these topics outside of work. Emilio’s background from Purdue University grounds his work in solid CS fundamentals, while his hands-on approach to tooling improvements helps teams move faster and more reliably. He brings a blend of backend systems sensibility and developer-centric thinking that surfaces subtle but high-impact productivity gains.
