SeniorEmily O'Brien is a product-minded engineer and founder with 11 years of experience building consumer and enterprise-facing products across startups and media companies. As Co-Founder and CTO of Cherry she single-handedly built a Y Combinator-backed corporate card product, drove 57% MoM growth, and engineered a 12x increase in perks engagement through rapid product iteration and partnerships. She has led engineering teams and product efforts at Giphy, Refinery29 and Carbon Health, shipping mobile-first experiences, ad and marketing platforms, and virtual care features. Comfortable bridging design, engineering and business, Emily hires and manages lean teams, negotiates integrations, and secures press and distribution. An early career blend of arts and tech gives her a user-centric, creative approach to product problems.
