Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolEnrique Gonzalez is a Senior Software Engineer with 12 years of experience building reliable, production-grade systems and a current senior role at GitHub where he’s been contributing since 2018. He combines a formal computer science background (UNC Charlotte and Georgia Tech graduate studies) with practical experience across fintech, startups, and consultancy firms, bringing strong full-stack and systems chops. Enrique moved up through hands-on engineering roles into senior positions at Skookum and GitHub, demonstrating consistent delivery on complex projects and operational support early in his career at Bank of America. Based in Charlotte, NC, he balances engineering rigor with a global perspective from dual studies in international business and computer science. Known for "building stuff" in public, he’s comfortable shipping features and navigating large codebases while mentoring peers. A less obvious strength is his early experience as a grader and production support analyst, which informs his attention to quality, observability, and developer experience.
