Senior🎓
Top SchoolEoin Landy is a seasoned software engineer with over 15 years of deep expertise in online and OTT video streaming, having led player development for major UK broadcasters including Channel 4 and ITV. He specializes in building resilient VOD and simulcast services across web and CTV platforms, with hands-on experience integrating DRM, ABR, dynamic ad insertion, and monitoring tools like Conviva. Comfortable across the stack, Eoin has modernized large player ecosystems—migrating Flash to HTML5 and adapting to the quirks of platforms such as SKY Q, Samsung Tizen, Amazon Fire TV and Xbox. A pragmatic problem-solver and active open-source author (notably pioneering Adobe AIR plugins), he combines production-grade ES6 coding with practical systems design and a track record of improving QoS at scale. Based in London, he now directs development at Tua Rua Ltd, blending consultancy-level architecture with day-to-day engineering.
