Top SchoolEph Baum is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of professional experience, blending hands-on full-stack development with people-first leadership across startups and established product teams. Based in Bremerton, WA, he specializes in building and integrating APIs, digital advertising platforms, and tooling for retail media, including driving FUEL’s integration into the Cars.com ecosystem and coordinating cross-company technical alignment. Comfortable as both an individual contributor and engineering manager, Eph mentors engineers, facilitates team rituals, and fosters psychologically safe, servant-led teams while shipping features across PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, Docker, and AWS. His background ranges from founding a small web firm to leading mobile and API efforts at enterprise companies, and he’s known for pragmatic migrations (Vagrant to Docker) and bridging product vision to production. Notably, he pairs deep legacy-system experience with a continual self-taught learning habit, reflected in a long history of online coursework and practical, platform-level integrations.
