Senior🎓
Top SchoolEric Bishton is a Principal Engineer and founder with nine years in his current consulting arc and a multi-decade track record delivering software across embedded firmware, consumer electronics, and medical devices. He specializes in developer tooling, CI/CD automation, and DevOps for regulated medical products—driving quantifiable outcomes like a 240% lift in patient uptake for an AI therapy and major developer productivity gains at TiVo and Kyocera. Hands-on from low-level firmware to user-facing apps and backend systems, he led Developer Experience at Nevro and built extendable GitHub Actions and Jenkins pipelines for product delivery. An active open-source maintainer (former lead of the IntelliJ-Haxe plugin), he combines community-driven tooling improvements with practical production engineering. He’s based in Palo Alto, blends architectural thinking with hands-on execution, and has a knack for turning opaque field data into automated logging and triage systems that uncover hard-to-find bugs.
