Top SchoolEric Hu is a software engineer with six years of experience specializing in Android imaging and embedded camera systems, having independently developed and published three Android apps on Google Play. He deeply understands Camera2, OpenGL ES, OpenCV, and native C/NDK integrations, and has boosted app performance by integrating libraries like UVCCamera, Live555, and FFmpeg. Eric modularized an Android CameraKit library (with obfuscation-released artifacts) and built a Linux CameraKit solution for third-party reuse, while also delivering cross-device support for phones, tablets, TV, and Chromebooks. He blends AI into products via TensorFlow Lite, YOLO fine-tuning, and Azure OpenAI, and has practical experience wiring Azure, Firebase, Google Auth, Drive, IAP, and maps into production apps. Based in Taiwan and formerly an Android senior engineer at IPEVO, he brings a pragmatic, performance-first approach and a track record of turning complex imaging requirements into reusable components.
