Top SchoolEric Jenkins is a pragmatic software engineer with 10 years of experience building and maintaining Drupal-centric web platforms, DevOps tooling, and backend systems across nonprofit, corporate, and campaign environments. He combines a formal engineering background with hands-on skills in HTML/CSS, jQuery, Bash, and server provisioning to deliver cost-effective, repeatable solutions and migration strategies (Drupal 7→8). As owner of Exel Digital he consults on hosting optimizations (DigitalOcean, AWS, Platform.sh, Pantheon) and data management for large organizations, while at Becker Professional Education he continues to apply those capabilities to mission-critical products. His work routinely spans full stack development, automated testing (Behat/Selenium), and infrastructure automation (SaltStack, Docker, Vagrant), reflecting a rare mix of web development and operations chops. Notably, his earlier career in structural engineering and database automation informs a methodical, data-driven approach to problem solving that improves reliability and maintainability. Based in the Greater Chicago Area, he brings consistent enthusiasm and professionalism to complex technical challenges.
