He brings deep Laravel/PHP roots and hands-on DevOps experience—managing Terraform-tracked AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines—to bridge development and operations. At Nelnet he progressed into senior engineering roles focused on creating, firefighting, and maintaining critical systems, and earlier led projects and teams at Friendemic. His background includes data analysis, testing and performance work at startups, and disciplined leadership from eight years of military service including operations and training roles in the U.S. Air Force. Notably, his blend of battlefield-trained discipline and production engineering helps him perform under pressure and steward systems end-to-end.
