Senior🎓
Top SchoolEric Menendez is a hands-on staff engineer with 13 years of experience building resilient, cloud-native infrastructure and leading cross-functional teams at companies like Spotify and Twitter. He combines technical depth—from DevOps, Kubernetes, and multi-cloud architectures to Python tooling—with a leader’s focus on accountability, shared ownership, and shipping measurable results. Eric has a track record of turning stalled projects into delivered outcomes (notably driving a Python 3 migration and instituting quarterly planning that dramatically improved delivery at Twitter) and scaling engineering practices at startups through to acquisition and enterprise compliance. Comfortable both mentoring engineers and working directly on code, he emphasizes testing, observability, and operational rigor to reduce risk and accelerate iteration. Trained in electrical and computer engineering at Carnegie Mellon and Penn State, he brings a systems-level perspective informed by earlier work in embedded and electronics engineering for complex, regulated environments.
