Senior🎓
Top SchoolEric Norman is a product engineer, founder, and early-stage investor with nine years of hands-on startup and venture experience based in San Francisco. As General Partner at Pioneer Fund, he evaluates hundreds of startups annually while building internal tooling and processes that scale investment decisions. He previously founded and exited Cinder Precision Cooker—taking a hardware prototype through YC, fundraising, two patents, media coverage and acquisition—and has deep experience shipping embedded and mechatronic products from firmware to cloud. Eric combines product-level engineering (non‑transferable membership tokens, peer-evaluation systems, precision measurement devices) with operational rigor from roles at Toyota and in tech banking, and often works across English and Japanese contexts. He’s comfortable moving between code, hardware, and investor strategy, and has a pragmatic knack for turning messy early signals into deployable systems.
