Top SchoolEric O'rear is a founder and technical content specialist with nine years of experience helping early- to mid-stage tech startups turn complex product ideas into clear, usable content and performant front-end experiences. Based in Berkeley, he combines hands-on front-end development (React/Redux) and web design with product marketing and developer-focused education, having led web and content efforts at Lightstep and NodeSource. He founded Syntax Writing Group to provide scalable content solutions that minimize overhead for fast-moving engineering teams. Eric's background in English and full‑stack bootcamp training lets him bridge technical nuance and accessible messaging, and he applies data-driven methods like A/B testing to iterate UX and content.
