Top SchoolEric Stavarache is a Staff Software Engineer at Google DeepMind with a decade of experience building production-grade ML and agentic systems, currently leading post-training model work for agentic computer use. He holds a Master's in Computer Science from ETH Zürich with a machine learning focus and has a strong track record at Google across Assistant, Vertex AI Search & Chat, and applied generative-AI projects for real-world products like drive-through ordering agents. His background spans systems and low-level tooling—bytecode optimizations, static analysis, and network-filtering firmware—from internships at Jane Street and Bloomberg to early roles at Bitdefender. Comfortable translating cutting-edge research into deployable services, he blends ML expertise with practical engineering at scale. Based in Sunnyvale, he brings both research pedigree and hands-on product impact, including finding a 0day in the OCaml compiler during a systems internship.
