Top SchoolEric Thorne is a pragmatic engineering leader and Head of Sales in Seattle with eight years of embedded and server-side engineering experience focused on clean energy and healthcare access. He transitioned from hands-on circuit design, PCB layout, and firmware for cost- and space-constrained power electronics to building reliable device management APIs and fleet operations software. Comfortable in client-facing roles from his IBM consulting days, Eric excels at translating technical constraints into clear strategy and ensuring cross-functional teams stay aligned. His background spans field prototyping of solar systems to high-frequency GSM and SMPS design, giving him uncommon depth across hardware, firmware, and cloud. Now driving commercial adoption at Golden Needle, he leverages technical credibility to close gaps between product, practice, and market impact. Colleagues rely on him to demystify complex systems and keep projects both manufacturable and mission-focused.
