Senior🎓
Top SchoolEric Wood is a senior software engineer with 14 years of full‑stack experience, currently building observability platform features at Datadog from his base in Denver. He has a strong Rails and JavaScript pedigree—shipping cross‑cutting work from backend APIs to React and React Native frontends, and has led major refactors and performance and tooling initiatives at companies like Brandfolder, Blue Apron, and Squarespace. Eric gravitates toward ambitious, user‑focused projects and has repeatedly taken ownership of complex platform and migration efforts (including large Backbone→React rewrites and hierarchical labeling systems). Comfortable across the stack, he combines pragmatic engineering with a taste for improving developer workflows, having created custom CLIs, Redux boilerplates, and frontend frameworks.
