Senior🎓
Top SchoolEric Zorn is a Senior Software Engineer with nine years of experience building type-safe, event-driven distributed systems and full-stack web and cross-platform mobile applications. He has driven architecture and tech leadership at companies like Meta, GoodRx, and Intuit, specializing in TypeScript, Go, Rust, React, GraphQL, gRPC, Kafka, and AWS-driven infrastructure. Eric excels at migrating monoliths to domain-owned microservices and monorepos, improving developer experience through tooling and contract-driven type safety, and designing high-throughput payment and subscription systems. He pairs a strong front-end sensibility—UX-aware component and state management—with backend expertise in messaging systems (SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ) and infra-as-code (Terraform, Kubernetes). Based in Westwood, NJ, he combines product-minded engineering with mentorship experience and a curious drive toward Rust and systems programming. A detail that often surprises peers: he frequently leads both frontend design-system work and low-level engineering efforts, bridging UI polish with resilient backend architecture.
