Summary
👤
SeniorErick Garcia is a software development engineer with eight years of experience building full-stack systems and shipping production services at Amazon, currently working on the Prime Air drone delivery program. He combines strong UX and web development instincts with backend skills in streaming, graph databases, and Kubernetes-based platforms from prior work on Nessie’s anomaly-detection and data-brokerage systems. Erick is an agile learner who quickly picks up domain knowledge—from semiconductor tooling at Applied Materials to healthcare portals and semantic-web research—and turns that understanding into maintainable, testable code. He holds an MS in Software Engineering with a cybersecurity focus and has a knack for optimization problems such as traffic routing, reflecting both practical engineering and research experience. A self-described vim enthusiast, he brings curiosity and cross-disciplinary experience (including computer vision research on drone payloads) to high-impact, systems-level challenges.
