Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolErik Gibbons is a web developer with 11 years of experience blending front- and back-end Ruby on Rails work with deep financial analytics expertise. He transitioned from a lead financial analyst role—where he built complex Excel/VBA models to process millions of records for SEC and investor matters—into in-house and application-focused web development roles at Roaring Fork, Strain PLLC, and freelance projects. Comfortable shipping production web applications and building analytical tooling, he brings a rare combination of product-facing development skills and quantitative rigor. Based in Virginia, he also supports intermittent Excel modeling engagements, which keeps his financial modeling and automation skills sharp alongside his web engineering work.
