Top SchoolErik Wahlberger is an embedded software engineer with 11 years of experience building Linux-based platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automation for regulated and telecom industries. He has deep hands-on expertise with Yocto-based Linux distributions, kernel and U-Boot development, and build systems (Make/CMake), complemented by scripting and automation in Bash, Python and Groovy. Previously at Ericsson he drove platform build and test automation including AddressSanitizer integration into CI, and at Breas Medical he combined test engineering with production test software development in C# .NET. Now based in Karlsruhe and working on embedded systems at Luminator, he blends low-level firmware work with infrastructure-as-code and open-source tooling. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic and detail-oriented—someone who makes complex build and deployment pipelines reliably repeatable.
