Top SchoolErkan Erol is a Staff Software Engineer with 11 years of experience specializing in building and operating Kubernetes-based platforms over the past 7 years. He has driven end-to-end Kubernetes-as-a-service initiatives across multi-provider and hybrid-cloud environments, designing operators, Helm charts, CLIs and integrating many CNCF projects to production at companies like Giant Swarm and Red Hat. His background spans cloud-native lifecycle automation, CI/CD, observability and customer-facing operational support, with hands-on experience on OpenStack, vSphere, Azure and managed Kubernetes offerings. Comfortable in on-call rotations and technical customer support, he also moves teams from script-based ops to Kubernetes-native workflows. Based in Istanbul, he blends practical platform engineering with upstream open-source contributions, bringing both system-design breadth and boots-on-the-ground delivery.
