Top SchoolErnest Lotter is a pragmatic software engineer with over a decade of experience delivering embedded and systems software for automotive and fleet management products, now applying his skills at Canonical. He has a strong background in mechatronics and a track record as a technical lead and manager at MiX Telematics and Delphi, where he translated complex vehicle control requirements into production-grade firmware and systems. Ernest combines hands-on embedded development with curriculum-style communication—having taught ARM and Raspberry Pi workshops across multiple regions—to bridge gaps between hardware, software and stakeholders. Known for quickly internalizing business vision, he mentors teams, drives upskilling, and leads by example to meet strategic goals.
