Senior🎓
Top SchoolErvin Ruci is a founder and geospatial technology specialist with over two decades building high-performance geocoding and location intelligence services used worldwide. He founded Geolytica Inc., Geocoder.ca, Geocode.xyz, 3geonames.org and Poidata.xyz, architecting APIs that process billions of requests monthly to improve logistics, mapping, and data analysis. His work blends open-source tooling, computational geometry and emerging AI techniques to continuously refine global geospatial accuracy and POI ground-truth. Based in Canada, he combines hands-on engineering with product vision, having launched one of North America’s first public geocoding APIs in 2005. Unusually for a founder, he remains deeply technical—running live data services and academic-rooted algorithms while iterating on real-time, large-scale geocoding infrastructure.
