Top SchoolEthan Goldfarb is a Founding Machine Learning Engineer based in San Francisco with 11 years of engineering experience and a CS degree from Cal Poly SLO with minors in Math, Stats, and Philosophy. He has built production ML systems across startups and established teams—from ML roles at Hive and Aquabyte to three internships at Apple—specializing in LLMs, CV, NLP, optimization, and distributed ML infrastructure. Comfortable shipping end-to-end solutions, he has hands-on experience with TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and large-scale data analysis pipelines that informed automated test classification and unsupervised rule generation. At his current stealth-stage startup he’s applying that blend of research-minded modeling and pragmatic engineering to accelerate product development. An uncommon detail: his background in philosophy complements his technical toolkit, sharpening his approach to model interpretability and decision-making under uncertainty.
