Top SchoolEvan Hoffman is a Senior SRE based in the New York City area with 14 years of experience keeping large-scale production systems and datacenter hardware humming. At Bloomberg since 2015 (promoted to Senior SRE in 2018), he focuses on resilient infrastructure, GPU clusters, and the low-level operational problems teams only notice when things fail. His background spans leadership and hands-on roles—from Director of Technology Operations to senior DevOps engineer—across ad tech and e‑commerce firms, giving him deep operational judgment and cross-functional collaboration skills. Pragmatic and detail-oriented, he excels at preventing incidents through automation and infrastructure design while remaining comfortable troubleshooting the messy hardware and firmware issues that many engineers avoid.
