Fabio Guilherme
Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal
Summary
👤
SeniorFabio Guilherme is a faculty lecturer and researcher with a PhD in Computer Science and over eight years of recent professional experience building software and teaching AI, games, and systems engineering. He blends academic rigor—coordinating masters programs in Creative Computing and AI—with hands-on development across .NET, Salesforce, Java, C#, C/C++, Python and Prolog, having delivered APIs, enterprise integrations and customer-facing solutions. His background spans technical business analysis, solution architecture and global client-facing roles (including work for Rio 2016 broadcasters and multinational finance and travel platforms), which makes him adept at translating complex requirements into practical systems. Fabio frequently bridges research and industry: he runs courses and coordinates postgraduate programs while publishing research in AI and games and applying those ideas in Unity/Unreal and gamified systems. A polyglot and language enthusiast based in Lisbon, he combines international experience with strong database and deployment skills (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Salesforce DX). Notably, his career mixes low-level systems and academic research—evident in projects from face-recognition prototypes to large-scale loyalty and charter-party APIs—showing both breadth and deep technical curiosity.
