Top SchoolFabrício Kury is a physician-turned-data-and-analytics engineer with 11 years of experience applying clinical expertise to large-scale healthcare data, specializing in Medicare claims and value-based care programs. He leads end-to-end analytics and ETL work—frequently converting HL7 FHIR into OMOP CDM—and has run patient-level analyses for ACOs and RWE studies using the CMS VRDC covering tens of millions of beneficiaries. Comfortable coding in R, Python, SAS and SQL, he blends rigorous clinical vocabulary knowledge (LOINC, RxNorm, HCPCS/CPT, etc.) with production data engineering to inform provider strategy in programs like MSSP and ACO REACH. His background includes research fellowships at the National Library of Medicine and recognition via a 2017 NLM award and a 2019 O-1 visa for extraordinary ability, underscoring a rare mix of academic credibility and operational impact. Now based in New York, he builds scalable analytics pipelines for organizations that support millions of patients, often surfacing practical insights from complex claims and EHR data.
