Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolFahrzin Hemmati is a seasoned software leader and founder with 19 years of experience building production-grade systems across embedded, backend, and autonomous vehicle domains from the San Francisco Bay Area. He has led engineering and operations teams at Applied Intuition and Waymo, scaled startups as CEO/COO, and now runs SonicInfra while serving as CIO of Jurin AI. Technically versatile, Fahrzin contributes to notable open-source projects—improving Python-to-C++ compiler workflows, Protocol Buffers build tooling, and low-level STM32 startup code—demonstrating fluency from firmware to distributed build systems. He combines hands-on engineering (C++, Python, IoT/embedded) with executive strategy, making code review, simulation, and manufacturing workflows more efficient. A UC Berkeley Computational Engineering Science graduate, he pairs academic rigor with practical product delivery and a knack for simplifying complex initialization and build problems that often hide in system glue code.
