👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolFederico Bertolini is a Senior Staff Engineer based in Málaga with over a decade of hands-on experience building web platforms, from backend systems and stored procedures to server-side rendered React applications and Node.js tooling. He has progressed from senior developer to engineering manager and staff/lead roles at HelloFresh, where he drove frontend microservice architectures, web performance initiatives, and hiring and mentorship across multi-city teams. Comfortable toggling between coding and people leadership, he routinely balances shipping improvements with reducing tech debt and raising quality standards. Recent work focuses on server-rendered React, performance optimization and developer tooling, reflecting a pragmatic full-stack generalist mindset. He combines enterprise .NET and SQL background with modern JS stacks, giving him a rare perspective on both legacy migrations and cutting-edge frontend architecture. Colleagues value him for making teams more autonomous while still staying deeply involved in code.
