Top SchoolFederico Ressi is a senior software engineer based in Alicante with a long, hands-on career spanning embedded systems, scientific computing, cloud orchestration and continuous integration. He has delivered high-performance C/C++ and Python systems for aerospace, video/CCTV, microscopy and CFD, and more recently contributed to networking and cloud integration work at Intel, Red Hat and Google. Comfortable across the stack, he designs architectures, optimizes numerical and parallel workloads (MPI/OpenMP) and builds developer tooling and CI pipelines that tame heterogeneous codebases. He combines deep systems and Linux expertise with practical frontend/back-end integrations (Qt, web, Play/Scala) and a history of mentoring teams on Python and best engineering practices. An uncommon thread through his work is bridging research-grade scientific computation with production-grade automation and packaging, making complex algorithms reliably deployable.
