Summary
🤩
RockstarFelipe Alfonso is a Principal Programmer with over a decade of hands-on experience optimizing games across PC, console and web, currently specializing in Unreal Engine 5 performance engineering. He began as a graphic artist and evolved into a self-taught low-level developer focused on CPU/GPU/memory bottlenecks, runtime and loading-time optimizations, and cross-platform console ports (PS5/XSX/S and older gens). Felipe has shipped performance work on high-profile titles like Hogwarts Legacy, contributed front-end examples to the popular Phaser engine, and helped extend Epic’s UEFN physics systems. His blend of artistic sensibility and deep systems knowledge makes him adept at both visual quality and runtime efficiency, and he keeps sharp by writing assembly for retro platforms and painting in watercolor and oil.
