Top SchoolFelipe Lopez is a Principal AI/ML Architect at AWS with a decade of experience applying generative AI, numerical modeling, and data-driven control to heavy-industry problems in energy, manufacturing, and oil & gas. He holds advanced degrees in engineering and analytics and has led cross-disciplinary teams to deploy production ML—ranging from autonomous turbine tuning to digital twins and industrial control pipelines—that optimize performance, reduce emissions, and increase profitability. His background spans research roles at NIST and academia to product and cloud architecture at GE Digital, Schlumberger, and AWS, giving him a rare blend of deep domain physics and scalable cloud engineering. A pragmatic Pythonist and DevOps enthusiast who enjoys automating systems (and apparently reading micro-expressions), he focuses on turning complex models into reliable, auditable solutions for industry at scale.
