Top SchoolFelix Epp is a Helsinki-based postdoctoral researcher and interaction designer with 14 years of experience at the intersection of human-centered design, tangible/embodied interaction, and software security. He combines academic depth—from a doctoral candidacy at Aalto University to Kone Foundation–funded work at the University of Helsinki—with practical research and teaching roles that translate novel concepts into interactive technologies. His background spans industry and research labs, including Fraunhofer SIT and design work under his own studio, giving him a rare blend of security-aware engineering and creative prototyping. Felix focuses on putting humans at the center of digital ideologies, exploring how embodied interfaces reshape user trust and system resilience. As an educator he mentors the next generation of interactive technologists while continuing to invent and test tangible interaction techniques. Colleagues describe him as a deep thinker who pairs conceptual rigor with hands-on invention and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
