Senior🎓
Top SchoolFelix Leeb is a CTO and research scientist with 8 years of experience at the intersection of causal representation learning and applied machine learning, currently leading technology at MaiTY while pursuing a doctoral program at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems under Bernhard Schölkopf. He develops practical tools and deep autoencoder methods to study dynamics of complex systems and to predict or control emergent behavior, with hands-on internships applying multimodal alignment and LLM steering at Sony and Microsoft and prior computer vision work at Amazon. Trained in physics, chemistry, and computer science at the University of Washington, he brings a multidisciplinary, mechanism-design mindset that bridges theoretical causal inference and production-ready ML solutions. Based in Tübingen, Germany, he pairs academic rigor with startup leadership, often focusing on minimal-data alignment and representation evaluations across downstream tasks.
