Top SchoolFelix Sargent is an engineering manager and technical leader with 14 years of experience building and scaling product-led engineering teams across startups and large enterprises. He combines hands-on programming in Scala, Python and JavaScript with strategic leadership—having led teams across the US, Spain and the UK to modernize infrastructure, adopt CI/CD, and cut operational costs and deployment times by significant margins. Past roles include Head of Engineering at RecruitBot, Senior Engineering Manager at Atlassian and Truework, and Director-level responsibilities at MediaMath and GovOS, where he delivered security, API, and product transformations. He has a strong product sensibility from roles in product management and VP Product positions, enabling tight alignment between engineering delivery and customer outcomes. Based in London, Felix is comfortable switching between IC work and managing cross-functional teams, and often drives migrations from legacy stacks to modern cloud-native CI/CD and authentication platforms.
